Max M. Dillard, Managing Director
Max Dillard, founder of The Dillard Anderson Group, began his oilfield career as a crewman on a drilling rig. After college, his career progressed as a drilling engineer, superintendent, operations manager, vice president and president of domestic onshore and offshore drilling companies. In 1978, he founded and became CEO of D.I. Industries which grew to become one of the largest publicly traded drilling companies in the United States. This growth was accomplished through internal expansion, and significant acquisition activity. Since 1996, Mr. Dillard has served as managing director of The Dillard Anderson Group. Mr. Dillard is a Registered Professional Engineer, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas. mdillard@dillardanderson.com
Stuart Hayashi – Managing Director
Stuart Hayashi serves as a managing director at The Dillard Anderson Group. Prior to joining the firm, Stuart was Principal with The Richards Group, a national branding and marketing agency. He led marketing consulting and business development for various business units within the company. He has served on the board of the North Texas U.C. Berkeley Alumni Association, Highland Park K-Life and Dallas Historical Society. He holds a bachelors degree in economics from Berkeley. He has guest lectured at Southern Methodist University, The University of Texas at Dallas and The University of Dallas Graduate School of Management. shayashi@dillardanderson.com
J. Scott Alexander – Managing Director
Scott Alexander is a Managing Director in the Dillard Anderson Group. His prior engagements included serving as a principal in Jady Capital Investment LP; Executive V.P. of Pyrolance North America, a breakthrough fire suppression company; Vice President of Porta-Kamp International, a premier manufacturing and marketing firm, building oil industry living quarters and accommodation units. Mr. Alexander has had extensive worldwide experience in marketing and sales. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Harding University and a Master’s degree in Business from Southern Methodist University. salexander@dillardanderson.com
Matt LaPosta – Managing Director
Matt LaPosta is a Managing Director in the Dillard Anderson Group. He is the founder and Co-Owner of LaPosta, Petty and Troha, LLC, a consumer marketing company. Mr. LaPosta has long term investments in oil and gas production in Oklahoma and Texas. Mr. LaPosta brings extensive marketing and contracts experience to the company.
